If you’re working on an Influencer partnership brief on Cohley, there is a very high chance that the brand will be reaching out for an Ad code to boost your content on TikTok and/ or Instagram. What a compliment!
By sending the brand this Ad code, you’re giving the brand permission to boost your content as an advertisement coming from your social account. If a brand plans on boosting creator content, it will be written in the Brief under deliverables.
Please make sure to review the full Brief before accepting- failure to provide the ad code will result in a payment deduction.
Brand chooses how many days they need the code for — anywhere from 1 to 365. You will see that number on the brief overview and again when you add your post, so generate your code for the number of days the brief asks for. The code generation happens automatically for TikTok.
Instagram Stories do not have an ad code. A Story can only be boosted for 24 hours, so Cohley does not request a code on Story deliverables — you will not see a field for one, and neither will the brand. The ad code requirement above applies to the placements where a code is actually requested, such as a feed post or a Reel.
Instructions to find your ad code for Instagram are linked here and TikTok instructions are linked here
Please note- there is no minimum amount of time a post must stay up. Creators must keep their social posts live indefinitely, even after the brief or boosting period is complete. Failure to keep social posts live on your account can result in Cohley account deactivation, as this is part of our terms and conditions (section 5C) linked here.
