Every brief has a built-in chat between you and the brand — that’s the right place for any brief-specific questions.

How to send a message

  1. Open the brief from your Applied or Active briefs tab
  2. The chat appears on the brief itself
  3. Send your message — the brand gets a notification

You can also send files (photos, videos, screenshots) in the chat if it helps explain what you’re asking.

What to expect

Brands typically respond within 2 business days. Cohley Support can’t speak for a brand on brief-specific questions (creative direction, what to include/exclude, approving what you’re planning) — only the brand managing the partnership can do that.

If the brand doesn’t respond

Especially with a deadline approaching, email support@cohley.com with your name, the brand name, and the brief name. We’ll nudge the brand and help you figure out next steps.

Heads up: some chat messages are automated

Not every message in your brief chat is from the brand directly. Cohley sends automated notifications for things like product or concept changes — details for those live in your application:

Past briefs

If a brand sends you a message on a brief that’s already in your Past tab, you can still respond. Open the brief from the message notification (in-app or email), and the chat will be there.
