After you collaborate with a brand on a brief, that brand can rate their experience working with you. Those ratings roll up into your average star rating — and they’re one of the best ways to build a strong reputation on Cohley. Here’s how it works, and why it’s a good thing for you.

When a brand rates you

A brand is prompted to rate you at two points in a brief:

  • When they move you to the Completed stage
  • If they unfortunately have to move you back to the Applicant stage (for example, if you are unresponsive)

What you can see

On your profile you’ll see your average star rating across all of your completed campaigns — a single rolling average, not a separate score for each brand. As you complete more briefs, your rating reflects your whole body of work rather than any single collaboration.

Why ratings are good for you

When a brand is deciding who to accept, a strong rating from creators who’ve actually delivered carries more weight than a portfolio alone. Great ratings help you get accepted to more briefs and rise to the top of brand searches. Think of feedback as a gift: it’s how brands recognize your best work, and it’s one of the clearest signals you can use to keep leveling up.

What if I get a lower rating?

Don’t stress — one lower rating will not bar you from future campaigns. Your score is an average across everything you’ve done, so a single off note evens out as you complete more briefs, and brands look at your overall track record rather than one data point. The best response is the simplest one: keep being responsive, hitting your deadlines, and following the brief. Your rating will reflect that over time.

Can I rate the brand?

Not at this time — Cohley doesn’t currently offer a way for creators to rate or review brands. If you ran into an issue with a brand during a brief, message them in the brief chat, and you can always reach out to support@cohley.com if you need help.
