Twice a week, Cohley sends you a list of recommended briefs we think you’d be a strong fit for. Recommendations are personalized based on:
- Your profile — kids, age range, languages, the settings you can shoot in, and the video types you are comfortable creating
- Your shipping address — how we match you to briefs that target a city, state or country
- Your portfolio — the categories and types of content you’ve produced
- Survey questions you’ve answered, and the briefs you’ve applied to — this is how we learn your niche and the kind of creator you are. They are not fields you fill in, so the more you answer, the better we can match you
- Your connected social accounts — connecting Instagram or TikTok makes you eligible for briefs with a social component, including Seeding briefs
- Brand targeting — each brief has its own targeting criteria the brand sets, and we match those against your profile
If you’re not seeing as many recommendations as you’d like:
- Complete every field in your profile (kids, pets, languages, video types, etc.) — empty fields mean you don’t match targeted briefs. See How do I edit my profile? Your location is not a profile field; briefs that target a place use the address on file, so keep your shipping address up to date
- Connect at least one social account — Instagram or TikTok. Without one, briefs that require a social post, including Seeding and Influencer briefs, won’t be recommended to you. See How do I connect or update my Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account?
- Answer survey questions when they come up — every answer helps us recommend better-fitting briefs
- Refresh your portfolio with recent work that reflects your current style
Recommendation lists arrive twice a week (plus occasional special drops). You can also browse open briefs anytime in your dashboard — you don’t have to wait for the email.
