Take a breath — these emails are automated - and you haven't submitted your final content yet. 

They go out automatically based on the brief’s content due date, so even if your situation is something Cohley’s system doesn’t know about (your product hasn’t arrived yet, the brand gave you an extension, or you’re waiting for approval to post), you’ll still get the reminder. Here’s what each email means:


When the emails fire

You’ll get up to three of these for any active brief where you haven’t submitted content yet:

They send daily at 2 PM ET until you submit content.


When you can safely ignore these emails

You’re not in trouble and won’t be penalized in these cases:

  • You haven’t received the product yet. Cohley’s reminder doesn’t know whether shipping has reached you. See I am late to submit content but not received product yet for what to do.
  • The brand granted you a content extension. If you’ve messaged the brand in the brief chat and they confirmed a new deadline, the automated reminders will keep firing until you upload — but you won’t be penalized.
  • You’re on an Influencer brief and waiting for the brand to approve your content to post. The “content is due” emails apply to uploading content for review; if you’ve already uploaded and are waiting on approval, no action is needed.

When you should act

If you do have your content ready and just haven’t uploaded yet:

  1. Open the brief from your Active tab
  2. Upload your content via the right deliverable button — see How do I send content for review?
  3. The automated reminder emails will stop within a day of upload

If your content isn’t quite ready and the deadline is approaching, message the brand in the brief chat to ask for a short extension (most brands will work with you). Open communication keeps you in good standing.


If something’s truly stuck

If you can’t get unblocked (product hasn’t arrived, brand isn’t responding to chat, you’re having technical issues uploading), email support@cohley.com with the brand name and brief name. We can help.
