How to request account deletion or deactivation

There's no self-serve "delete account" button — we handle these requests directly so we can do it properly and securely. Just email us and we'll take it from there:

  1. Email support@cohley.com from the email address associated with your Cohley account (this helps us confirm the request is really you).
  2. Let us know whether you'd like to permanently delete your account or temporarily deactivate it, so we apply the right one.
  3. That's it — our team will take care of the rest and confirm once it's done.

If you have an active brief in progress, let us know in the same email so we can advise on wrapping it up first.

What happens to your data

Cohley takes data privacy seriously. We're SOC 2 certified, so your information is handled to rigorous security standards, and we honor data-deletion requests in line with privacy regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems.

Please note that permanent deletion can't be undone — your profile, portfolio, and brief history will be removed. If you think you may want to return later, ask us about deactivating instead.
